GENERAL TERMS OF USE

This text describes the terms of use for the yachtmaster.hr application and all the content and services located on the site. The Terms of Use are established in order to protect the users of yachtmaster.hr and other Internet users from unpleasant, disturbing, distracting and illegal activities. The Terms of Use are available at www.yachtmaster.hr. It is assumed that you have read the “Terms of Use” and that you agreed to them before you began using yachtmaster.hr. If you do not agree to the “Terms of Use”, you are asked to stop using this application.

The yachtmaster.hr web-site is available for use to all employment-seekers and employers, with the purpose of finding employment or employees, respectively (exclusively the positions of skipper, hostess or sea vessel cook).

Data entered into the yachtmaster.hr database is protected by Article 3 of the Copyright Act. The data can be used only in the way prescribed in these Terms of Use. By using the data for any other purpose (copying, transcription, distribution etc.) without authorisation, and particularly with the purpose of mass distribution of announcements, promotional messages and similar information, you act contrary to the Copyright Act and are subject to sanctions.

Content posted by application users

As a user of YACHTMASTER.hr, you are bound to post only those materials which do not, in any way, break the legislation of the Republic of Croatia. You are held responsible if the data you posted is in violation of copyright or other ownership rights. Among other, you agree that as a user of yachtmaster.hr you will not:

Post and/or transfer content protected by law
Post and/or send vulgar, offensive, threatening, racist, fascist and chauvinistic content, text and/or pictures
Post and/or send advertisements or promotional materials to other users which are not related to the site’s basic activity
Post and/or send secret and/or protected data of natural or legal persons
Falsely introduce yourself (as another natural or legal person)
Post, transmit and/or send information in violation of Croatian and/or international laws
Post, transmit and/or send false information with the purpose of harming third parties
Use someone else’s user name without authorisation

Administrators retain the right to delete any content posted on YACHTMASTER.hr, without prior notice or explanation.

Also, any user can be barred from the site, without prior notice and explanation.

Yachtmaster.hr, its owners and administrators do not guarantee that the site will function at any time and from any computer. Also, Yachtmaster.hr is not responsible for direct or indirect damage resulting from an application error. Yachtmaster.hr is not responsible for direct or indirect damage resulting from application use. Yachtmaster.hr retains the right to use the web-site to collect, note and keep all user-created material on www.yachtmaster.hr.

The "Terms of Use" are subject to change with prior notice.

Terms of Use for employers

Posting ads for skippers as well as searching the database and CVs is free of charge.

The use of a user name and password is allowed ONLY to authorised charter companies. All reservations made through the YACHTMASTER.hr service are bound by your user name and profile password. It is not allowed to transfer or "lend" a user name or password to other charter companies or agencies.

By clicking on "Make a reservation" a formal query for a specific time-slot is sent to the skipper. The reservation can be stored only by mail or a phone call to a yachtmaster.hr administrator.

Yachtmaster.hr does not guarantee the accuracy of data within the skippers' CVs but is doing everything to verify the entered data as much as possible.

Registered employers can post ads for work positions (vessel transfer, skippering jobs, permanent vessel positions, cooks, hostesses…) and subsequently alter them, keep track of visiting statistics for posted ads, search through the CV summaries and use other advanced functions which either are or will be installed.

Terms of use for employment-seekers

Registration and profile creation on yachtmaster.hr with the purpose of finding employment is free of charge.

By registering on yachtmaster.hr and creating a profile, you verify the accuracy of data entered under your profile.

Registered employment-seekers (skippers) can enter their CV, subsequently alter it and use all of the other advanced functions which are either installed or will be. In order for the profile to be posted, it is necessary to fill out ALL of the mandatory questions. Contact-numbers, e-mails and profile photo are visible only to yachtmaster.hr administrators or registered charter companies.

Yachtmaster.hr retains the right to use profiles and data listed during registration with the purpose of sending notifications to employers because of the possibility of finding an employee, or finding employment.

YACHTMASTER.hr is an automated system functioning by SMS booking. After receiving a text message from yachtmaster.hr you are REQUIRED to either accept or decline the query by calling the contact number listed in the SMS in the shortest possible time! In case this requirement is not met, we retain the right to temporarily or permanently remove you from the yachtmaster application.

Yachtmaster.hr does not guarantee the accuracy of data in the employers’ ads or notifications.

The Terms of Use are in force for the duration of using yachtmaster.hr. You can terminate your membership with yachtmaster.hr at any time, for any reason and without explanation.

By using yachtmaster.hr, the user confirms he/she is acquainted with the Terms of Use of yachtmaster.hr and that he/she agrees with them in full.
