Speed-dating with 35 international agents – sounds good?

Fourth year in a row Charter Meetup will be held in Athens, Greece in the Amarilia Hotel in Vouliagmeni. From April 24-26 you will be able to have 35 meetings with Brokers from all over the world. As the number of participants is rising, the number of meetings is higher every year. Read this article and find out why!

Charter Meetup

How will B2B days look like, and what should you expect?

PRESENT YOURSELF

Before the meetings start on Saturday, each Greek charter company has one minute to present themselves to all agents and other charter companies. Show your bases, your company, the boats you have – and any good news too.

STRUCTURE

Once everyone briefly gets to know one another, meetings begin. Each Greek charter has its own table. This way you have the chance to have brochures, presents, and any materials you need for efficient meetings to show to the agents. Agents move from table to table.

MEETINGS ARE 10-MINUTES LONG

You have 10 minutes to exchange all the important information, contacts, say hi and introduce yourself to the agents you have never met. Use this time wisely, and if you have more to say and 10 minutes is not enough, take part in the social aspects too!

SOCIAL AND NETWORK

Use coffee breaks each day and lunch breaks to mingle and discuss business. On Saturday evening agents can experience a traditional Greek dinner, so take this opportunity to sit with them, and introduce them more to your culture. Sunday afternoon is all about visiting marinas, and if your boats are in those marinas, make something memorable when they arrive!

BUSINESS EXPECTATIONS

35 meetings and all 10 minutes are tiring. However, they are very productive and fulfilling. Do expect to have a lot of new information, propositions, and suggestions, as well as new partnerships. Expect 35 business cards, more than 35 exchanged business topics and a minimum of 100 handshakes!
