The 21st EMMYS 2025 Successfully Concluded in Poros
The 21st edition of EMMYS 2025 was successfully concluded, having taken place from April 29 to May 2 in Poros. For the first time, Icebreaker Magazine was proud to be a Media Partner of the 21st EMMYS 2025, supporting the event with coverage, interviews, and highlights to showcase its success and participants.

Icebreaker has already made waves by attending and partnering with some of the industry’s most important events. The magazine was a proud media partner at EMMYS Poros.
The 21st EMMYS 2025 was officially inaugurated on April 29 in Poros with a distinguished opening ceremony attended by top government officials, industry leaders, and representatives from key tourism and maritime organizations.
Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms. Anna Karamanli, along with representatives of the Prime Minister, GNTO, the Ministry of Shipping, and other regional and sectoral bodies, delivered welcoming remarks and received honorary awards for their support of Greek yachting and marine tourism. The event also included special recognition for individuals who have made lasting contributions to the industry, such as Ms. Beverly Parsons.
The exhibition included receptions and parties onboard yachts, as well as a Chef Competition featuring yacht chefs judged by renowned chefs Giannis Baxevanis, Fanis Maikantis, Giannis Markadakis, and Babis Zintilis.
• In the EMERALD category (daily charter rate up to €4,999), the winner was Amalia Provelegiou, chef of yacht SAHANA.
• In the DIAMOND category (daily charter rate €5,000 and above), the winner was Savas Lychanidis, chef of yacht ABOVE & BEYOND.
In the Tablescaping Competition, the winners were:
• Maria Konstantopoulou from yacht P2 in the EMERALD category
• Polina Politidou from yacht ABOVE & BEYOND in the DIAMOND category.
In the “CYBA Designer Water Competition”, the winning yachts were:
• TWIN PRIDE in the EMERALD category
• ELLY in the DIAMOND category
Winners received commemorative trophies and flower bouquets.
Events held at Megaron Syngrou included:
• “New Technologies in Hospitality and Tourism”, discussing industry-specific and local issues with hoteliers, organizations, and media
• Sustainability Panel Discussion: “Protecting the seas we love” by Sustainable Sailing Greece
• Software Presentation: Ankor
• Service Presentation: Bayz Spa – The Story, The Vision, The Opportunity
Also featured was an art exhibition by Elena Kos titled “The Sea Remembers Us”.
The exhibition hosted 106 crewed yachts – catamarans, motor yachts, and sailing yachts – representing the full range of charter vessels available in Greece, 21 sponsor-exhibitor booths offering services for marine tourism, and 265 brokers from 28 countries. It is estimated that the exhibition welcomed more than 2,500 visitors.
